Dr. Carrine A. Burns is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon with over 20 years of experience, based in Lewiston, Maine. She earned her MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed dual residency training in Family Medicine at MaineHealth (1998–2001) and Dermatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center (2001–2004). This unique dual-training background gives her a broad clinical perspective, allowing her to assess skin conditions within the full context of a patient's overall health. Dr. Burns specializes in general dermatology and dermatologic surgery, with particular expertise in the diagnosis and surgical removal of cancerous skin growths, as well as the management of conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, and skin cancer.
